Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Protomight LLC handles information when you browse our website, contact us, create an account, or use our courses.
Last updated: October 13, 2026.
Who handles your information?
Protomight LLC is responsible for the personal information we use to run Protomight. Contact support@protomight.com or write to 5900 Balcones Dr, Ste 100, Austin, TX 78731-4298, United States.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as your name, email address, member identifier, and course-access permissions.
- Purchase and refund information, such as transaction references, purchased offers, amounts, currencies, payment status, and purchase credits. Paddle collects the payment and billing information required for checkout; we do not receive your full card number.
- Information you send us when requesting support, a refund, or help with your information.
- Technical information generated by website, video, download, and security services, which may include IP addresses, browser/device information, requested pages or files, timestamps, and error information.
- If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics measures visits, pages viewed, broad location and device/browser information. Our site does not send your account email or member identifier to Analytics.
Why we use it
We use your information to create and authenticate accounts, provide course access, deliver videos and downloads, apply purchase credits, record purchases and refunds, answer requests, protect the service, and meet accounting or legal obligations.
Where applicable data-protection law requires a lawful basis, account and course delivery generally rely on performing our agreement with you; legal recordkeeping relies on legal obligations; proportionate security and service administration rely on legitimate interests; and optional analytics or marketing tracking rely on consent where required. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, subject to applicable law.
Services involved
We use Webflow for the website and integrations, Memberstack for accounts and email-code authentication, Bunny.net for video and exercise-file delivery, and Google Workspace for support email and the Course 3 shared Google Sheet. These services may process information needed to provide their functions. Website fonts may load from Google Fonts, which receives technical information such as your IP address and browser information when your browser requests a font.
Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes checkout, tax, receipts, and refunds under its own applicable privacy notice and terms. Paddle shares relevant purchase and refund information with us so we can provide course access.
Google Analytics is used only with your optional analytics consent. Webflow Cloud runs our access and payment integrations using its hosting infrastructure. GitHub stores our integration source code; it does not receive your student account information through our course-access flow.
We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably needed to protect rights, safety, or the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small browser files; local storage is another way a service remembers information on your device. Memberstack uses browser storage to authenticate members and maintain account access. This storage supports the sign-in service you request and is separate from optional Analytics. We store your accept or reject choice under protomight-privacy-v1 in local storage for 180 days. Google Analytics loads only after you accept optional Analytics and uses _ga and _ga_* cookies, configured to expire after 180 days without renewal on repeat visits. Rejecting optional Analytics does not prevent account or course access. You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawing consent disables Analytics and removes its accessible cookies. Opening a preview or starting a lesson player loads Bunny’s video player; the video itself waits for you to press Play. According to Bunny’s documentation, its player does not set playback or analytics cookies. Resumable playback may store your position locally for up to seven days; the player also sends anonymous performance telemetry. Checkout may use storage needed for payment and security under Paddle’s own policies. Clearing browser storage may sign you out and bring the choices back. Storage used by required services depends on the features you use; their privacy notices provide further details.
Our Cookie settings control is in the footer. It lets you accept or reject optional Analytics and change your choice later. We remember either choice in this browser for 180 days. Clearing browser storage may bring the choices back. Rejecting optional Analytics does not block course access.
International processing
Protomight is based in the United States. Our hosting, account, payment, video, and email providers may process information in other countries, where laws may differ from those in your country. Their privacy notices and data-processing terms describe the safeguards used for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. Contact support@protomight.com for information about the providers and safeguards involved in your use of Protomight.
How long we retain information
We retain information for as long as needed to provide your account and course access, handle support, maintain purchase and refund records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Optional Google Analytics measurement is currently limited to page views and scrolling. Advertising personalization is disabled. Google Analytics event data is set to a two-month retention period and user data to fourteen months, with the reset on new activity disabled. These settings do not apply to aggregated standard reports, which may be retained longer. Retention depends on the purpose of the information and the service involved. Some purchase, refund, support, or security records may remain after account deletion where needed to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Our providers’ privacy notices describe their own retention practices.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information; restrict processing; object to certain processing; or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also complain to your relevant data-protection authority.
Email support@protomight.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity without asking you to send login codes or passwords. We respond within applicable legal deadlines. Some records may need to be kept for legal reasons even after an account is deleted. Deleting your account can affect access to purchased courses; we will explain the consequences before carrying out the request.
Children and policy changes
Protomight accounts and purchases are intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect account information from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact support@protomight.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action. This age requirement is a service policy; it does not mean we verify identity or date of birth.
We update this policy when our practices change. The last updated date identifies the current version, and we provide additional notice where required.
